Summer 2019 Wine + cider Dinners

This summer we will be hosting Special Event dinners, celebrating the products of 4 special places in the Cowichan Valley: Enrico Winery, Blue Grouse Estate Winery, Alderlea Vineyards and the Valley Cider Company. The prices and menus of each event will be updated on this page closer to the date.

There will only be 25 guest spaces available for each dinner, and the rest of the bar will be closed for the event, so reservations are required.

3 Course Menu for this event:

Amuse Bouche: Brie Mousse on pine-nut cracker, with candied orange zest, orange gel and chive

Pairing: Célébration - Charme de L’ile

Course 1: Poached Bass and Spot prawn with fennel, apple & celery purée, pinenut gremolata, micro greens, calamansi pink peppercorn gel

Pairing: Falconet - Petite Milo 

Course 2: Lamb with spring rose and almond dukkah, grilled baby carrots and asparagus with chermoula, freekeh grain risotto

Pairing: Jousting Knights - Maréchal Foch/Pinot Noir Blend

Course 3 (Dessert): Flourless Chocolate Torte, fresh and dried raspberries, dried meringue and pistachio 

Pairing: Red Dragon - Rosé
